When I returned home for my summer internship at a lifestyle magazine, I got to write about ice cream cakes, the "swicy" food trend, and where to find Argentinian food in Westchester (for that last piece, I interviewed an empanada storeowner in Spanish!).
I don't only write about serious things. I'm a big musical theater fan (seen almost 50 Broadway shows) and foodie (rated almost 300 restaurants on the Beli app). My dream job if money were no object is to travel the world as a food blogger and musical theater critic.
When I spent the semester abroad in Buenos Aires, I saw four musicals in Spanish on the city's Broadway equivalent and did my final presentation comparing the shows to their English equivalents. I also blogged my entire four-month experience — with especially detailed accounts of everything I ate.
Fun fact: I was president of Connecticut College for a day!
